In this week's T-Shirt Tuesday I'd like to highlight a pop-culture inspired birding-themed t-shirt design we first introduced back in 2008. This one is part of our Pop Culture collection: Dial B for Birder.
I was thinking about making a birding spoof design using the fact that birder rhymes with murder and came up with this one. Ray Milland is one of my favorite actors, and I thought he was super in Dial M for Murder. I was just looking at his filmography on IMdB and saw that his acting career spanned from the beginning of the sound era in 1929 all the way to mid-1980's. He even did guest spots on The Love Boat and Hart to Hart! Wow!
Shown here on a hooded sweatshirt, this spoof design can be purchased on other apparel options and gift items; see some examples below.
In honor of the excellent Nature program that ran this week, Hummingbirds: Magic In The Air, this week's highlighted shirt is made for hummingbird fans. The Original Hummer has a cute small illustrated hummingbird drinking nectar from a red flower. The design is shown here on a junior ringer t-shirt.
