In this week’s T-Shirt Tuesday I’d like to highlight two new designs we’ve added recently on the same theme: migratory flyways. Both of these are inspired by pop culture and can be found in the Pop Culture Birding section of the shop.
First we have Rockin’ Down the Flyway, which is inspired by the rock n’ roll lyric Rockin’ Down the Highway. This is done in a rock-style font and colors.
Next we have Lost Flyway, which is inspired by David Lynch’s Lost Highway. This design is made in the style of the film’s poster.
In North America there are four main routes that migratory birds use, and these are known as flyways. These pop culture spoof birding t-shirts would be fun to wear during a birding excursion during the migration season, wouldn’t they?
In this week’s T-Shirt Tuesday I’d like to highlight one of our newest birding-themed t-shirt designs. This one is part of our Pop Culture collection: Dial B for Birder.
I was thinking about making a birding spoof design using the fact that birder rhymes with murder and came up with this one. Ray Milland is one of my favorites, and I thought he was super in Dial M for Murder. I was just looking at his filmography on IMdB and saw that his acting career spanned from the beginning of the sound era in 1929 all the way to mid-1980’s. He did guest spots on The Love Boat and Hart to Hart – I wonder if I can find those on Hulu?!
In this week’s T-Shirt Tuesday I’d like to highlight one of the designs from our Lifelist Club Medallions series. The one pictured here is Lifelist Club – 500 Dark Tee.
